FAQ

Please see below the Frequently Asked Questions for Rosebank Resthome & Hopsital

What care options do you have available?
Villas: 27 New independent living villas.
Respite Care: Short term care (See question below).
Residential Rest Home: Supported care, with access to 24-hour Registered Nursing care if required.
Residential Hospital & Palliative Care: plus Rehabilitative, Convalescent and Hospice services.

What is respite care?
Short term care on a planned or emergency basis, to help with you or your carer’s illness, holidays or absence for any reason. You apply for Respite Care and must be assessed as eligible.

What is palliative care?
The goal is to prevent and relieve suffering; improve quality of life for people facing serious, complex illness. The focus is on reducing the severity of symptoms, rather than trying to stop or delay progression, or provide a cure.

Am I eligible for residential aged care?
Before entry, an assessment must be undertaken to determine both eligibility, and which level of care is required. Contact Sue Prowse, Rosebank’s Manager
